Flaming Baby Boy

Subject: Birth Song

My nephew, unnamed baby boy (see attached photos), was born this morning (7/25/2010) at 2:01 AM EDT to the soundtrack provided by Flaming Oldies. I know that one of my lasting memories of the birth will be of the midwives and entire birth team singing along to "How Deep is Your Love", and my sister has credited the music with easing some of her pain during a stressful time.

We know that the song prior to his actual birth was "Maybe I'm Amazed", and one after was "You're the One that I Want" but none of us are sure what was actually playing when he made his first appearance. Would it be possible to get a playlist for the evening and early morning? At a minimum, we'd love to know what song(s) were played between those two songs.

Thank you for being a part of this experience.

"How Deep is Your Love?"

Dear *******:

I have, never ever, received such an e-mail such as yours as I did today.  I actually started to choke-up about this as this was one of the most heartfelt things I have ever read. A new birth into one’s family is the most amazing and wonderful thing that a family could ever experience. The pictures are priceless and knowing the joy that you and your family had this morning, is untouchable. Our station being part of this joyful event is something I could have never imagined that would happen. I had one of the biggest ass grins on my face ever – besides the birth of my own two children.

I wish you and your family a joyful time and many pleasant years to come with the new baby.

Thanks for sharing this special moment with us.
